  • Extensive pre-screening including due diligence follow as necessary for every student to ensure ALE meets your child’s needs
  • Physical exam takes place before a student goes into the field
  • Groups hike at a pace that is sustainable for the slowest member of the group
  • 24-hour access to medical personnel plus local Hospital with ER nearby
  • Air evacuation in emergencies is available
  • Field instructors carry a full capability medical kit
  • Senior Field instructors are Wilderness First Responder certified
