Adirondack Leadership Expeditions is a character development program with a focus on assessment, intervention, and transition to aftercare. Our program uses wilderness as a medium for engaging students in established therapeutic modalities. Wilderness is an effective alternative to clinical settings which empowers kids to try healthier and more sustainable strategies for coping with life’s challenges.

As Our Program Grows, We Have New Positions Available!

Wilderness Field Supervisor/Counselor
Our Masters/Doctorate level counselors work together with both the students and their families to teach emotional and interpersonal skills using challenging and nurturing methods. Not only will you be able to work outside, but you will also be able to help families grow and develop in very healthy, positive ways.

Field Instructors
Our Field Instructors are wilderness professionals who have a passion for working with youth and who exhibit a high level of proficiency in the outdoors. We are looking for compassionate and experienced individuals who are interested in guiding adolescents through challenging and growth-oriented experiences in the mountains of the Adirondacks.
